Time is sipped, swallowed, spent, taken, enjoyed, savored, envied with every passing moment. I know I said I would be back before now with the next episode of the Othello Tragedy but–like all good intentions–other priorities took over. To give the characters their full dimensions, I must wade through several thousand images to pick those that my imagination dictates for the stories. No, I’m not a “spray and pray” photographer with millions of images to go through; it’s just that I’m going back through three years of files. I came to the realistic realization that it will take several more weeks to do the story justice. So, rather than not post anything, I’ll be uploading more frequently–I just won’t be getting back to Othello yet.
Last evening, I took an old lens out for a test. The lens is a used 28mm which I purchased for a song. It has no coupling for digital era cameras, so I wasn’t sure if anything would be worth saving. I was almost shooting blind since I didn’t have a light meter with me. Oh, but the glass, the glass is magical in this old battered lens!! Here’s a sample of the sunset-reflected sky from last night. The Great Blue Heron was busy fishing–as were some humans. The no-seemums were out en masse and it was “hottern’ hell” but I stayed shooting until I could barely see.

All seems well on our beautiful Gulf Coast for now. I hope all is well in your corner of the world. Here’ a little MUSICA from the marvelous Ms Baez. Enjoy!
