Please Don’t Burst His Bubble!

This morning I was in the yard when I came upon my little laddie Cherokee. He was fiercely guarding HIS catnip as I walked by.  Actually, I think what he’s fondly embracing is the Texas Thyme or some herb akin to that species.  But I won’t burst his bubble–he’s happy and so am I ;=)

There’s One in Every Bunch!

It is not uncommon to see a bunch of  alligators and crocodiles sunning themselves and napping on the pond decks at Gatorland.  What I find hilarious is that, inevitably, there’s always one on the “lookout” or getting ready for their “close-up”.

Come back in a day or two for an update on Baudelaire the Great Blue Heron.  Meanwhile, here’s wishing everyone a beautiful Easter and Passover.
