Like the lovely little Snowy Egret above–he couldn’t make up his mind whether or not to spear one of the many fish passing by–I have spent an inordinate amount of time reflecting on whether I should wait to update my blog until everything on my website was perfect. Yes, it has been quite a while since I updated the blog. It was not out of willful neglect but time just slipped away while I was immersed in other tasks. I’ve been busy creating a new addition to Photosunderthesun.com. Here’s the link: http://trisketta.zenfolio.com/ which will take you to a boutique where you can purchase images. I had thought about waiting until I had integrated the addition to the original site and finished setting up the shopping cart but I was antsy to get back to showing you life on the wild side here in Southwest Florida. That and I’ve also got many bird stories which need to be completed and posted. Maya the Great Egret keeps nudging me and I can no longer shush her. By the way, she’s quite The Missy around these here parts now. But that’s all I’ll tell you for now. We’ll be back with her tales and her cast of characters and I’ll let them tell the stories.
I’ve upgraded to Adobe CS5 and am tearing my hair out trying to get it to behave–apparently, I have the incompatible version of Mac’s operating system. Don’t get me started!! I know this will eventually work itself out but right now there are other priorities to deal with. There are so many wonderful software programs out there to help a photography business but like everything new, there’s a learning curve to acquire success. In my “mature” stage that should read SEVERE learning curve. Time is marching on so, go click on the new boutique addition above. The shopping cart will be available soon but I would love for you to enjoy the images in the galleries. These will be updated on a regular basis.
One other thing: I’ve been receiving many notifications that people have filled out the contact page on my site. When I open the notification, there’s nothing there. It appears that the link is corrupt. If you want to contact me–leave a note in the comments here and I’ll get back to you. Or send an email to downeypatricia85@gmail.com It will be a while before I get up the curve on Dreamweaver 5 (web software) and fix the problem. Meanwhile, here’s a little music to bring a smile to your day. Have a wonderful weekend, y’all
